The Old vs. the New

by Polona Somrak

Dear Ones!

We are in a transition between the old and the New. What is this shift in our physical Ascension truly about? Firstly, we have to be aware that all ...the levels of our Being need to be addressed and assessed in this shift. There is no one without the other, as everything is intrinsically interconnected. Everything is whole within the grander Whole of All That Is. So when we shift on one layer of our Being, the other layers naturally align with our Source Essence as well. What are the most apparent realizations within the New?

In the New, we shift from thinking in terms of good/bad, right/wrong, serving/not serving, useful/time wasting, etc. to the perspective of Divine order of everything and we understand that everything is just about sharing different perspectives. We might resonate with a certain perspective more, as we embody a certain vibration which we may call our predominant frequency. When in the awareness of Oneness, we can neutrally see and integrate all of the other perspectives as well, while firmly residing in our own truth and Spirit integrity. We become a neutral objective observer and we see the connection of everything and the internal influences behind the "scenes".

In the New, we are moving from doing to Being, as we are shifting from Human doings to Light Beings. We realize that in the Divine Plan of Perfection, there is no control and pushing things. We act through awareness and only when we are so guided. This means that we are responsive through being aligned with our Soul instead of being reactive through the ego, which is the lower self. Being passive is something different than being active through surrendering and letting go while taking only those action steps that follow our Bliss ... the authentic Self! We also know that we can only receive guidance on the next step and we are not interested in the "distant future", as we only wish to reside in the Now moment. Read More

Spiritual Prayer for Healing

By Krishna Gupta

[Excerpt] "There are quite a few healers in this world, but we learned that Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Lord Buddha, Jesus Christ were the greatest and selfless healers, Based on their teachings I have written a consolidated prayer which may be useful under many circumstances and incidents. It is advisable that recitation of prayer should be performed collectively by the devotees; the place should be calm and quite in order to concentrate on the individual to be healed." Read More

Oh; Almighty God, omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotent, Infinite creator of the universe, the protector, the basis of all life, merciful, pervasive, present in the whole universe, is the flow of the rivers, giving fragrance to all, smiling in the moon, sun, stars, and also the sweet voice of the chirping birds.
We ask that you send us the healing love of cosmic rays from the highest vibration entering through our soul stars and further entering our Crown Chakra flowing perfectly through our bodies.
As these vibrations flow perfectly through our bodies, grounds us through the crystalline core of the mother earth. Take away all of our negativity and replace it with nothing less than the perfect and holiest white light.
We ask that the holy light flow perfectly through our bodies; and flow abundantly down our arms, out our Palm Chakra, and out to each finger tip.
Our words and actions may be a witness that you are living in us. To the one that is lonely, may we be a friend. To those with heavy burdens, help us to meet their needs. Guide us and heal us so that we can be a greater service to others. Our mind body and soul is all yours, you are the only one who can cross the river of our life and show us the right path.
We want to be in my purest form and will forget our pride and identity in your devotion. You are the ultimate and we belong to you. We are as much yours as you are ours. You are source of energy and we can always feel your mercy.
Please enlighten our heart, shower us with supreme joy and protect us from all the ill feelings. We know we do not have much to offer, but with your grace, we will give you all.
Oh God, we pray with our folded hands, please accept our prayers, let our deeds be pure, and let our ears always hear your hymns. Please do not keep us away from your mercy, let your blessings and sacred name be on our tongues, and be with us in sorrow, happiness at all the time. Enlighten our path from darkness to light, mortality to immortality. Let the whole world be happy and free of illness, sorrow and sadness.
Take from our heart all guile and worldliness, jealousy, greediness, angriness, and selfish motto. Please give skill to our hands, clear vision to our mind, kindness and sympathy to our hearts, grant us wisdom, show us the path of righteousness and show us to perform true and noble deeds.
Oh Lord, You are a great healer, and we bow our head before you with our clear and pure heart. Blessed and cure at least part of the burden of our suffering fellow men, women, children and families.
Thank you, Almighty God and Angels for listen to our humble prayer.

Beasts of the Southern Wild - Official Trailer HD (2012)

The beautiful and mesmerizing Beasts of the Southern Wild is the best reviewed film of the year so far, with 20 scores of 100 on Metacritic. The film first made its mark at the Sundance Film Fest very early in the year, then continued on to the Cannes Film Fest where the film won the Fipresci Prize, the Golden Camera Award, the Prix Regards Jeune and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury’s special mention. It is unlike any film that will be released this year, and can’t really be categorized or filed in any particular category – it is wholly original.
The film is about the spirit of New Orleans and how it was damaged/diminished during and after Katrina. Maybe no one will ever say that’s what it’s literally about, maybe it can dwell quite easily in metaphor but the comparisons are hard to deny. What happened after Katrina was that suddenly New Orleans became a tragedy – the poor were exposed, vulnerable, abandoned – then rescued, then pitied, then put in a position of having to rebuild that which never wanted to be destroyed. In this little girl, the spirit lives. In this little girl, the spirit is handed down by the older generations. Read More

Heaven Is Real: A Doctor’s Experience With the Afterlife

When a neurosurgeon found himself in a coma, he experienced things he never thought possible—a journey to the afterlife.

As a neurosurgeon, I did not believe in the phenomenon of near-death experiences. I grew up in a scientific world, the son of a neurosurgeon. I followed my father’s path and became an academic neurosurgeon, teaching at Harvard Medical School and other universities. I understand what happens to the brain when people are near death, and I had always believed there were good scientific explanations for the heavenly out-of-body journeys described by those who narrowly escaped death.

The brain is an astonishingly sophisticated but extremely delicate mechanism. Reduce the amount of oxygen it receives by the smallest amount and it will react. It was no big surprise that people who had undergone severe trauma would return from their experiences with strange stories. But that didn’t mean they had journeyed anywhere real.

Although I considered myself a faithful Christian, I was so more in name than in actual belief. I didn’t begrudge those who wanted to believe that Jesus was more than simply a good man who had suffered at the hands of the world. I sympathized deeply with those who wanted to believe that there was a God somewhere out there who loved us unconditionally. In fact, I envied such people the security that those beliefs no doubt provided. But as a scientist, I simply knew better than to believe them myself.

In the fall of 2008, however, after seven days in a coma during which the human part of my brain, the neocortex, was inactivated, I experienced something so profound that it gave me a scientific reason to believe in consciousness after death. Read More

An Esoteric View of the 1960s and '70s

by Garry Gilfoy
Firstly, I want to make the claim that the evolution of consciousness is central to humanity's task, which, by the way, is the development of freedom -- refer to our creation myth with its starting point of eating from "the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" and being denied eternal life and turned from the face of God. We were cut off, as it were, but not needlessly. The journey is long and it's slow and it's often a painful thing to witness, but we have an eternity to create freedom for a cosmic order where it doesn't otherwise exist. (For the whole of the BIG picture you'll just have to get my book.)
So, some recent historical perspective. When Jiddu Krishnamurti repudiated the claims of the theosophists that he was the new messiah, we assume that this assertion and the course of history prove him correct. With the aid of hindsight, however, we might consider that he has played a unique role in the advancement of our global spiritual consciousness.
In the latter part of the 19th century and into the 20th, Helena Blavatsky's Theosophical Society was a highly respected form of spiritualism embraced by many of Europe's intellectual elite. Krishnamurti was spotted by Charles Leadbetter, a Society leader and clairvoyant, who claimed him as a World Teacher and vehicle for the Maitreya. This was quite a claim. Among other things it caused Rudolf Steiner, the great mystic, scientist and pedagogue and at that time head of the German and Austrian branch of the Theosophical Society, to leave it and form The Anthroposophical Society. There would be only the one capital-I Incarnation, he asserted.
From the dim-witted boy he was purported to be, Krishnamurti received a good education both intellectually and spiritually. Although he went on to deny Theosophy's claims of him, he became a spiritual teacher of great renown in the West, taking up residence in California. Events would conspire to give him a central role in momentous societal shifts. Read More

Vibe Report – May 2012

by Nancy Ward
We are into the 5th month of 2012 and as I sit with the energies scanning the past 4 months I see and feel erratic fluctuations pulling and pushing like a sawing motion, accompanied by drops in elevation down into sinkholes, then popping out like cartoon toast from a toaster boing-ing up and slow spiraling down to land gently on soft moss that soon morphs into mud and turns into a slurry that cascades us with it to the edge of a precipice and off we go because there’s no other choice and instead of falling, we’re floating and then suddenly falling and then going up and on and on it goes. Yikes!
At times I’ve also felt like I’m on a carnival ride – the Cup and Saucer. I’m sitting in the cup and it begins to spin and the larger saucer is also spinning, faster and faster, at different rates and sometimes different directions. Centrifugal forces are bringing up our issues for integration and lightening up.
We may be feeling a little dizzy or nauseous, experiencing digestive issues, sudden feelings of panic, or a general flat-lining feeling that leaves us staring into space. Surges of energy are entering our nervous system affecting our physical bodies, our emotional/mental body and blurring the lines of reality. I’m not even sure I can explain what that means, but so-called reality seems a bit fuzzy at times, along with the flow of time itself. And the sun… what’s up with the sun? The light seems different somehow and yet I can’t quite put my finger on it. It seems “old” or diffused… the shadows seem long even at mid-day. Read More

The power of aura

The depth of the soul is immeasurable. Not even the human ego can identify with it. It transcends logic and rationale, to speak through the cosmic realm of consciousness. Human attributes of pride, pretentiousness and arrogance nullify in the face of the spirit. The language of the soul pierces through the physical body. Its interaction is through senses which in spiritual terms are deemed as clairvoyance (sight), clairaudience (hearing/ listening), claircognizance (knowing), clairsentience (feeling/touching), clairalience (smelling). Our five senses have the potential to cover the entire topography of the universe including that of the planets other than earth.
The human aura can expand to thousands of kms, increasing its attraction towards other species like animals, minerals and plants. Lord Buddha’s aura was believed to expand through 3,500 kms from where he stood. Indira Gandhi’s compassed more than 1,000 kms of a region.
As the body moves, so does its aura. They are two bodies but one. In the esoteric science of spirituality, the human aura consists of multiple colours like, pink, green, violet, red and blue. Each colour represents a component of virtue like love, anger, spiritual consciousness, humility, suppression and so on. Read More

Prayer versus Meditation for inner peace: The healing power from within

by Pat Ferguson
Meditation recently received a big boost from one of its most popular participants: Oprah Winfrey. The small town of Fairfield, Iowa, was the recent poster child for Transcendental Meditation’s (aka as “TM”) empowering effects over the mind, body and spirit for both inner peace and healthier living. Perhaps it was their practically non-existent crime culture, or maybe it was their daily call to meditation, attracting over 1/3 of their 95,000 in population that struck the interest of Oprah’s audience. Whatever it was, it’s got a lot of people talking about meditation, its purpose and powerful effect on our overall wellbeing. The question most of us have is the following: “How is “meditation” different from “praying”? What benefits are known about both? Why practice one over the other? Will practicing meditation and/or prayer impact our overall wellness? Do we really have an untapped “power from within” that can be released through prayer and/or meditation? As a society, we usually separate meditation and prayer from three different perspectives (see below)
Transcendental Meditation
Meditation has been around for thousands of years, practiced in all forms of both non-religious and organized religious groups, using a variety of methods. The actual Transcendental Meditation “technique and movement” was first introduced in the 1950’s, by an Indian man named Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Known as the “giggling guru”, Maharishi developed a method using various mantras (repetitive sounds) and breathing techniques focused on calming the inner-self, while reaching a spiritual plane of balance and peace from within. From all outward appearances, Mahesh simply wanted to train people to be at peace and to use the power of that peace to help their bodies live as naturally, healthy and balanced as possible. Beyond that purpose, you could say some of the deeper TM methods point toward a religious aspect of Buddhism (calling upon the “gods” from within) while completely steering clear of any one singular faith or religion.
Prayer
Depending upon a person’s faith prayer is a very personal and profound experience. From being in a conversation with God to being silent while focusing upon God prayer can mirror certain aspects of “meditation” (see below) and provide very much the same results (inner peace/focus/clarity/reflection/purpose). What can be widely different between prayer and TM is based upon who you ask. Read More

Jonas Elrod Describes Oprah's Aura - Super Soul Sunday - Oprah Winfrey N...

Ghosts, angels, spirits--are they real or a figment of your imagination? Oprah interviews Jonas Elrod about his ability to see these spiritual visions and energies. Then, don't miss the exclusive TV premiere of Jonas' film, Wake Up.
The spiritual path can be a colossal pain. I find nothing in it to be romanticized though Hollywood has tried. It is work, real work. That being said taking this journey has been the best decision I've ever made. It was a decision that as I look back now, was offered time and again but I either ignored it or I missed it. That's how this works. You get opportunities throughout your life to work on your problems. It's up to you to recognize it and choose to do it.
I think it's great that someone can have the perfect posture when doing advanced yoga, or when someone can meditate for 8 hours straight and go to the far reaches of the galaxy. Cool, I guess. But what does that mean? Does it make you happy? Does it connect you to the giant light bulb in the sky? Does it help you in the singles circuit? Nothing against meditation or yoga -- I meditate fairly regularly and tried yoga a handful of times -- but the point I am making is the practice is not the path.
My spiritual awakening happened eight years ago when I began having wild metaphysical experiences. One night I saw and heard spirits, geometry floating through space and energy around people. Still with me? You don't have to believe me, but it propelled me onto a path so hard and fast it'd make your head spin. This ability has been with me ever since. Cue the organ and dry ice! I know how it sounds and when discussed publicly I am usually met with lots of questions or sometimes, relief. And sometimes skepticism. My lack of belief in such things quickly went away as these experiences became a part of my everyday life. Needless to say it scared the hell out of me at first but it also got me to where I am today: Happy. Woah, what a word, right? Read More

Earth Changes, Safe Havens and Golden Cities on Conscious Living Radio

Lori Toye is known for the I AM America maps. Given to her in a dream by four white robed teachers, the first map rolled out in 1989. Those teachers offered details of earth changes that could change the shape of the United States and the maps vary to spell out the range from minor to major surface alteration. The work didn't stop there. The teachers also offered instructions and advice on what we might do to avoid a worst case scenario. Emerging from a time of maintaining a low profile, Lori now has new information and a new map. Find out more on this edition of Conscious Living.

More than 20 years after publication of the I AM America Earth Changes Map, which delineated the physical changes in the geography of our country, Lori Toye continues her work with more in-depth information relevant to what is occurring now.
The map was published before public awareness of the effects of  global warming and  climate change, and  it incorporated the locations of Golden Cities - or safe havens - sustainable places to live during a time of upheaval.
Her work has progressed into a series of books regarding the Golden Cities. These new publications correlate and expand on the information provided in the first “I AM America Map.”
Her research continues to guide and enrich our spiritual growth and understanding of these beginning times, prophesied to begin in the 21st century, more than 6000 year ago.
You can check the I AM America website for more information on the Golden Cities. Listen to Interview

How Does Our Consciousness Change The Structure Of The Brain And Then Our Life?

[This is really a terrific article.--Lori]

by Peter Baksa

After spending time interviewing Tibetan monks while in Beijing, China, at the Lama Temple, correlations between their rituals and how they aligned with modern neuroplastic science began to surface. I was able to spend time with the Dalai Lama himself and found that he was curious about the question "Does consciousness in and of itself, force changes in the structure of the brain? " Does the mind create physiological change in the brain and then thereby alter life situations in the natural? I decided to find out.

In addition to the brain giving rise to thoughts, hopes, beliefs and emotions that add up to this thing we call the mind, could it be that the mind also acts back on the brain to cause physical changes in the very manner they were initiated? If so, then pure thought (our consciousness) would change the brain's activity, its circuits or even its structure. Joe Dispensza suggests in his book "Evolve Your Brain" that if we choose to rely soley on our inherited circuits (DNA) we are stuck with those traits and patterns, good, bad or indifferent. Animals as Spirit Guides  Those spirits that are in animal form that teach us, guide us, empower us, and help us heal are called animal spirit guides or spirit animals. In shamanic and indigenous cultures they’re usually called totem animals or power animals. Often these terms are used interchangeably, although there are subtle differences in meaning.

On Time and Free Will: What does physics teach us about determinism?

by Tam Hunt
In any attempt to bridge the domains of experience belonging to the spiritual and physical sides of our nature, time occupies the key position.
—Arthur Stanley Eddington, 1928
Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for insects as well as for the stars. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper.
—Albert Einstein
Even very smart people can be wrong. After all, Einstein showed with his theories of relativity that Newton, another very smart guy, didn’t have the whole picture on the nature of space or time. But nor did Einstein, it seems, as I’ll describe. It is becoming increasingly clear that Einstein was wrong about the nature of time and determinism.
What is time? For Einstein and most physicists, time is considered an additional dimension akin to a spatial dimension — sometimes described as “the spatialization of time.” We arrive at a four-dimensional universe in which time is reversible and there is no real difference between past, present, and future. Past, present, and future are all just different coordinates in an unchanging and eternal “block universe.” Einstein made this view explicit in a 1955 letter to a friend; the appearance of past, present, and future as distinct features of our experience, he wrote, is a “stubbornly persistent illusion.”
Sometimes, developments that seem like advances can actually be setbacks. Einstein’s views on time have become prevalent in science and philosophy, but what is far less prevalent is the understanding that in a world where time is an illusion and the universe is deterministic, there is no room for free will. Krishna is Christ Consciousness Krishna is poorna or complete. He manifests perfection, an ideal being, who knows how to live, love, fulfil his duties and fight, if need be. "I would like to walk the path that Krishna advocates in the Bhagavad Gita. His is a path of love; to give your 100% to everything that you do and surrender the result of your actions to Him," says Mansi, a PhD student in Mumbai. Mridula Bhatia and Poonam Jain make regular visits to the church to pray. Neither is Christian, yet they are able to connect with Christ. "I feel his presence sometimes in the Church," says Bhatia, a Delhi University student. "I may not follow Christ religiously, but i definitely want to cultivate qualities that are associated with him. He always talked of love and service." Both Krishna and Jesus embody Supreme Consciousness...

The Scope of Metaphysics

"So what is the scope of metaphysics? No, it’s not some new-age, mystical, spiritual woo-woo. It is fundamentally concerned with describing or understanding the nature of being and becoming (change)."

When people come across the term “metaphysics” they often associate it with new-age spiritual mysticism that deals with the mysterious non-physical aspects of reality such as spirits or spiritual healing or ghosts. This is quite understandable as the etymology of the word suggests just that. The word is derived from Greek meaning beyond or after (meta) physics.

The main reason for this confusion can be traced back to the Latin scholars who translated and commented on Aristotle’s works. Aristotle wrote several books on physics and Andronicus of Rhodes placed several of Aristotle’s more philosophical works after these books. Andronicus labelled these works as “the books that come after the physics” and the Latin scholars thought it meant “the science of what is beyond the physical”, hence “metaphysics”. Read More

The Shift of the Ages

by Dawn Abel, MayaMysterySchool.net

"And so the Earth is literally “shaking” and “cleansing” itself of the dense and toxic energies as it spirals up the new vortex of violet light."

A major shift occurred on October 28, 2011, the end of the Mayan Universal Underworld cycle. Some awoke the following morning feeling lighthearted and renewed. Others continued their day-to-day operations without a thought to the new energy; either they didn’t feel it, didn’t know about it, or didn’t care. Regardless, a shift did occur but it was not linear. The shift was harmonic. Harmonic energy waves raise energy, they don’t change energy.
Those who were involved in grounding this new energy to the Earth were actually raising the Earth to the new energy dynamic, not bringing the energy down to the planet. This is what “heaven on Earth” is all about. And it is this dynamic that is now playing out and will continue to play out around the globe as the planet makes a physical and material transition to the new harmonic energy.
The new energy has been birthed, implanted, and grounded. The new cosmic grid is now enveloping the planet so that the Earth can work its way up the violet ray of ascension. That does not mean that everything is going to be peaceful and loving during the ascension process. As is evident by the news on a daily basis, there is still war, hunger, and strife on the planet. The new harmonic energies can only lift those who are ready to embrace these light energies. The planet has been readied to ascend and has begun to do so, but not all the people on the planet are ready. And so the Earth is literally “shaking” and “cleansing” itself of the dense and toxic energies as it spirals up the new vortex of violet light. Those who are ready for ascension, those who have prepared for the moment, those who have diligently stood ground when others ran, can now climb without the burden of weight upon their shoulders.
Of course, energies change first in the cosmic realms and then move into the physical realm. So there is a delay factor that will continue to play the old underworld scripts as the new energy totally envelops the planet and moves it up the cosmic ladder, rather than the corporate ladder. In fact, the corporate ladders are crumbling of their own weight, even if this does not appear so.
The cosmic ladder of light does not carry weight; it carries light energy. Thus, many can climb up if they have let go of their planetary baggage. The ascent requires unity and compassion. So to successfully ascend, you must bring others who are unified and compassionate with you. Those who are not unified or compassionate, those who continue to exploit and enslave, those who seek power for themselves, cannot climb the cosmic ladder.
This ladder is akin to Jacob’s ladder in the Hebrew bible. In a dream, Jacob saw God standing above the ladder. God repeated the promise of support he had made to Abraham and Isaac. He told Jacob his offspring would be many, blessing all the families of the Earth. God then said,
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you” (Genesis 28:15)
Now that we have moved out of the Mayan Underworld “Universal” cycle (the final Mayan Underworld cycle) into the spiraling harmonic energy wave, many are ready to ascend the ladder to establish their “heaven on Earth,” through the “outreach of God.”
“Thy people also shall be all righteous, they shall inherit the land for ever; the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.” (Isaiah 60:21).
In contrast to Jacob's ladder...Read More
