Earth Change Study Group Forming

A group is forming to study the New World Atlas by Lori Toye, which is part of the I Am America material. This work has received worldwide attention and has been featured on NBC, FOX, UPN, and in the New York Times. This material shows how the Earth has begun a cleansing process which is now accelerating and attempting to wake us up. They use the phrase: “A Change Of Heart Can Change The World!”

The Earth is cleansing with the elements the same way that we do, by washing out irritants, blowing away toxins, burning up infection, and shaking loose blockages. The Earth has always responded to our misuse, just as our own bodies have responded to adverse living conditions, chemicals, smoke, radiation, and stress. But there is a reckoning when a living organism reaches a breaking point, then the response begins to happen on a much larger scale. Can we even begin to imagine the pain to a living planet of an underground nuclear explosion? Could we blame the Earth for bringing her water across warring countries?

The I Am America material shows detailed maps of the possible direction of these changes, depending upon our response. We are in the center of one of five major vortices in the United States , each 270 miles wide, which is part of a larger global cleansing system, numbering 51 around the planet. These are similar to the chakras in our body, spinning clockwise to bring in energies and counter-clockwise to cleanse and release. These areas are protected from the larger cataclysmic changes which are beginning to occur and many will be coming here for safety.

The centers of these vortices are particularly sensitive to the happenings, thoughts, feelings, and projections of those living there. If an alignment can occur within those centers with the needs of the planet, a great service can be performed not only for the local vortex but also in forming a grid between all the vortices to establish global harmony. Instead of taking unconsciously, the I Am America material focuses upon giving back consciously. Techniques are presented for personal as well as global healing.

Rising water, falling journalism

Every evening, my father climbs the levee along the Missouri River in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and peers down into the black water that swallows the road. The water is rising, and the Army Corps of Engineers says the levee has never faced such a test. Dad, a retired professor, is packing his books and papers. If the levee doesn't hold, his one-story house could be underwater for months.

A little farther up the Missouri, at the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Station near Blair, Nebraska, the river is already lapping at the Aqua Dams -- giant plastic tubes filled with water -- that form a stockade around the plant's buildings. The plant has become an island.

In Blair, in Council Bluffs, and in my hometown of Omaha -- which are all less than 20 miles from the Fort Calhoun Station -- some people haven't forgotten that flooding is what caused the power loss at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant and the disastrous partial meltdowns that followed. They're wondering what the floodwaters might do if they were to reach Fort Calhoun's electrical systems.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a "yellow finding PDF" (indicating a safety significance somewhere between moderate and high) for the plant last October, after determining that the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) "did not adequately prescribe steps to mitigate external flood conditions in the auxiliary building and intake structure" in the event of a worst-case Missouri River flood. The auxiliary building -- which surrounds the reactor building like a horseshoe flung around a stake -- is where the plant's spent-fuel pool and emergency generators are located. Read More

Fatal floods hit China forcing over 500,000 to flee

China has raised the disaster alert to the highest level, as flooding spreads across central and southern provinces. Days of torrential rain have forced the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people in central and southern China. The government has described flooding in some areas as the worst since 1955 and has mobilised troops to evacuate some 555,000 people. More than 100 people are known to have died so far this month. China's disaster alert has been raised to the highest level, four. More heavy rain is expected in the coming days, with little let-up until Sunday. In Jiangxi province in the east, troops helped 122,400 residents move from vulnerable, low-lying areas, the China News Service reported. Read More

Northern Rockies States Brace For Flooding  (NPR Radio) The Northern Rocky Mountain states are bracing for what could be major flooding this month. The snowpack in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah is at a record high for this time of year. As temperatures rise, that snow is melting. If it gets too hot too quickly, snow will come off the mountains faster than rivers can handle. Some have already overflowed their banks...

Theories Behind the Snowfall and Flooding: Life on this Earth Just Changed: The North Atlantic Current is Gone (September, 2010): The latest satellite data establishes that the North Atlantic Current (also called the North Atlantic Drift) no longer exists and along with it the Norway Current. These two warm water currents are actually part of the same system that has several names depending on where in the Atlantic Ocean it is. The entire system is a key part of the planet's heat regulatory system; it is what keeps Ireland and the United Kingdom mostly ice free and the Scandinavia countries from being too cold; it is what keeps the entire world from another Ice Age. This Thermohaline Circulation System is now dead in places and dying in others. This 'river' of warm water that moves through the Atlantic Ocean is called, in various places, the South Atlantic Current, the North Brazil Current, the Caribbean Current, the Yucatan Current, the Loop Current, the Florida Current, the Gulf Stream, the North Atlantic Current (or North Atlantic Drift) and the Norway Current. It is a university level physics experiment to use a tub of cool water and inject a colored stream of warm water into it. You can see the boundary layers of the warm water stream. If you add oil to the tub it breaks down the boundary layers of the warm water stream and effectively destroys the current vorticity . This is what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico and in the Atlantic Ocean. The entire 'river of warm water' that flows from the Caribbean to the edges of Western Europe is dying due to the Corexit that the Obama Administration allowed BP to use to hide the scale of the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Disaster. The approximately two million gallons of Corexit, plus several million gallons of other dispersants, have caused the over two hundred million gallons of crude oil, that has gushed for months from the BP wellhead and nearby sites, to mostly sink to the bottom of the ocean. Two Nebraska Nuclear Plants Partially Submerged by Missouri Floodwaters

FAA issues 'No Fly Zones' due to 'hazards'

Ignored by the Mainstream Media two nuclear power facilities in Nebraska which were designated temporary restricted no fly zones by the FAA in early June due to ‘hazards’. The FAA restrictions, ‘effectively immediately’, ‘until further notice’. The Ft. Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant, currently sandbagged against the floodwaters of the Missouri River, and, the Cooper Nuclear Station, located on the Missouri River. According to the NRC, there’s no need to panic. If so, then why the No Fly Zones due to ‘hazards’ issued by the FAA?

Video news report from local NBC 6 on the Ft. Calhoun Power Plant and the massive amount of farm land flooded by the Missouri River. According to a local farmer worried about the levees, ‘We need the Corps-Army Corps of Engineers–to do more. The Corps needs to tell us what to do and where to go. This is not mother nature, this is manmade.’

On June 6, 2011, the report from Action Three News, Worst Case Scenario Leaves Huge Piece of Omaha Under Water: Omaha, NE – Homes and businesses north of Ames, east of Florence Boulevard and east of South 16th Street are at risk for flooding if the north Omaha levee breaks. The Qwest Center, Gallup Campus, North Omaha Power Plant and all of Eppley Airfield would be affected. That’s about 2,700 people the city would have to evacuate. Even though officials are confident in the levees through Omaha, they still want people to know about the risk and be prepared for the worst case scenario. City leaders say the worst case would put a huge part of northeast Omaha in up to 10 feet of water. This is one of many reasons why officials monitor it so closely. Read More

The Elenin Comet Controversy Continues

 Comet Elenin will not destroy the Earth I did a search for Comet Elenin the other day and was surprised at how much gloom-and-doom blather has been written about this modest comet. The misinformation covers the full range of nonsense – everything from the name ‘Elenin’ being a coded message for ‘Extinction Level Event Notable Impact Nemesis’ to the comet being a secret brown dwarf star called Nibiru (which doesn’t exist). Some are even spreading the rumor that Leonid Elenin the person doesn’t actually exist...
 
Comet 2010 X1 Elenin, Earthquakes, Astronomical Alignments and Mensur Omerbashich There is still widespread angst that comet 2010 X1 Elenin will cause significant earthquakes when it comes close to Earth later this year. I’ve shown previously that Elenin is not associated with earthquakes, however, in the comments (and on the intertubes), an as yet unpublished paper by Mensur Omerbashich titled “Astronomical Alignments as the Cause of ~M6+ Seismicity” http://arxiv.org/abs/1104.2036. The paper purports to show that astronomical alignments, particularly that of Elenin, are the proximal cause of earthquakes of magnitude 6 or stronger. To save you time before you read the paper and my critique of it, I’ll give you a short and long summary.
Short Summary: It’s nonsense on stilts.
Longer Summary: A sloppy paper which presents incorrect data. It ignores basic information on comets, basic physics and its “evidence” is drawing lines thorough planets. Come on people! Russian amateur astronomer Leonid Elenin: Let’s shed a little light. Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) was discovered by Russian amateur Leonid Elenin on December 10, 2010. Although he lives in Lyubertsy, Russia, like many amateur astronomers, Elenin takes astrophotos ‘remotely’ using telescopes that can be controlled by a home computer. The night of his discovery he was taking routine photos of the sky at the independent Russian remote observatory ISON-NM (International Scientific Optical Network) near Mayhill, New Mexico...

A friend of mine who is a high school counselor told me recently that some of the children she worked with were worried about or even terrified by the prophecies surrounding December 21, 2012, the date the Long Cycle of the Mayan Calendar comes to an end. This is a sad state of affairs. There are enough frightening things in our world as it is without scaring our kids with images of hypothetical disasters, especially when even the native Mayans do not interpret the end of the Long Cycle (and the beginning of a new one) as an apocalyptic end of the world.

We’ve already just survived another such millenarian scare with the passing of May 21, 2011, when many were prophesying the coming of the Last Days. This was a specific prophecy I hadn’t heard of until just a couple of days before the apocalypse was supposed to occur. Talk about being out of the loop! But then I don’t pay much heed to apocalyptic prophecies. My inner mentor John used to say that prophecies focused your attention on a particular date or a specific event, leaving you oblivious to other potentially more important or challenging events that then blindside you.
This year is already a case in point. A great deal of attention in the form of books, videos, movies, articles, websites and like has gone into focusing on 2012 as a year of catastrophes, but as far as natural disasters go, already we’ve had an earthquake and tsunami in Japan of historic proportions which brought on a nuclear emergency, and in the United States, an historic outbreak of tornadoes in the American Southeast, historic levels of snow and rain, and massive flooding of the Mississippi. Plus in the political and social arena, there’s been the historic (note how I need to keep using this word to describe the unprecedented nature of the events occurring around us) rise of the “Arab Spring” and the accompanying unrest and regime changes going on in the Middle East. In all the buildup towards 2012, I don’t remember any psychic or prophet saying anything about 2011. This year got overlooked, and yet look around! Residents Told to Flee as Arizona Fire Spreads

GREER, Ariz. — There was smoke — huge white plumes of it — as far as the eye could see, so much that the majestic views of this resort community were lost and the lungs of area residents breathed it in and coughed it out. And that smoke meant that off in the surrounding hills, there was fire. The nation’s largest wildfire is just a few miles from Greer, a tiny town of log cabins nestled in the woods in eastern Arizona. Those cabins are empty now, after the authorities trudged through the smoke on Monday afternoon warning residents that the Wallow Fire, which had burned up more than 233,000 acres in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest as of Tuesday morning, was surging their way. Residents of Alpine, Nutrioso, Bonita and other mountain communities enveloped in the smoke have received similarly urgent warnings to get out. Read More

The Horseshoe Two fire over in the Chiricahua Mountains keeps on burning and burning and burning…now over 100,000 acres.

Chiricahua Mountains … another “sky island” turned to ash The Horseshoe Two Fire has grown to over 100,000 acres as well as of late Sunday – only the fifth fire to do so in Arizona history. Over 1,000 persons are fighting the blaze, officials report, with 38 engines assisting as well. The inferno, which is also human-caused, has burned for nearly a month, injuring seven and costing nearly $28 million to fight. This fire is approximately 55 percent contained as of Sunday evening...

COMMENTARY: As you can see from the map of what has been burnt, a great majority of the Chiricahua Mountain forest lands have been burned. By the time this fire is over, the pine forest may be pretty much gone in that range. Back in the early 1960′s I spent some time at Camp Pine in the Chiricahuas…which is located below Barfoot mountain. The camp is saved (so far) but Barfoot is burned. It will probably be 100 years or more before that country looks anything like what I remember. The same story is being repeated all over the West and especially in Arizona. We have moved into a time of massive fires…major portions of the pine forest high country is gone. If this trend continues ponderosa pines will just be a memory here. Our “sky islands” will look more like barren volcanic islands. The oak forest south of Tucson are also going up in flames. We’ve had 6 fires down here this season with the Murphy Fire still going strong and headed into the Atascosa Mountains. Maybe this is a sign of global warming. Whether human caused or not, the southwest has always been experiencing climate change…swinging from wetter times tro extreme drougth. The bark beetles have not helped the situation. And neither did 100 years of aggressive fire prevention that allowed our forests to become giant dried out wood piles. Read More

Crews Work to Protect Communities from Arizona Wildfires

Smoke fills the sky casting an eerie orange glow over the town of Alpine as the Wallow Fire burns in the Bear Wallow Wilderness southwest of Alpine, Ariz.

TUCSON, Ariz. –  Crews on Saturday worked to protect several small Arizona communities from two large wildfires by clearing away brush near homes and setting fires aimed at robbing the blazes of their fuel. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer called the Wallow Fire, near the White Mountain community of Alpine, "absolutely frightening." The fire grew to 218 square miles, or more than 140,000 acres, becoming the third largest in state history, with its smoke visible well into New Mexico and parts of southern Colorado. Fire officials said they had zero containment of the fire near the New Mexico-Arizona state line, which has forced an unknown number of people to evacuate. "It was unbelievable -- the expansion of the smoke," Brewer said after an aerial tour of the blaze and a briefing from fire team's commander in Springerville. Read More

Puyehue Volcano Erupts In Chile, Hundreds Evacuate

SANTIAGO, Chile — The Puyehue volcano in southern Chile erupted Saturday, sending a huge plume of smoke and ash into the sky and prompting officials to evacuate about 600 people living nearby. There were no reports of injuries. Authorities had put the area around the volcano on alert Saturday morning after a flurry of earthquakes, and the eruption began in the afternoon. The National Emergency Office said it recorded an average of 230 tremors an hour. On the other side of the Andes in Argentina, heavy ash fell on the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. Officials warned residents of the area around the city to take precautions against a possible prolonged ashfall. They urged people to stock up on food and water and to stay home. The volcano is nearly 500 miles (800 kilometers) south of Chile's national capital, Santiago.

Midwest Towns, Farmers Brace For Summer Floods

Just as the Mississippi River settles after washing out swaths of the South, the flooding elsewhere has just begun: A raging Missouri River in the northern Plains now will threaten parts of the Midwest well into the summer. Many communities in the upper Midwest had expected a wet season, but the specter of a more severe and sustained period of flooding surfaced following record rainfall concentrated in Montana. Making matters worse, rising temperatures are expected to melt the snowcaps in the Rocky Mountains following a winter of greater-than-usual snowfall. The conditions have prompted officials to ready evacuation plans and build up flood-wall protections in downriver states next in line for the potential deluge, from the Dakotas to Iowa to Nebraska to Missouri. Taken together with the Mississippi River flooding, government officials and analysts say the potential damage to homes, businesses and crops is likely to be the worst since Hurricane Katrina. Weather Causes Concern About Wheat The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) had predicted a big soft red winter (SRW) crop for 2011/12 with an 80 percent bump in production over 2010/11. More SRW was planted and the crop was in excellent condition coming out of dormancy in March. Since then, however, a pattern of heavy rain in the Mid-South and parts of the Midwest could be stressing SRW production potential. “Ohio is waterlogged,” said John Hoffman, a SRW producer in the south-central part of that state where 890,000 acres of SRW were planted. “I’ve heard there is a lot of wheat standing in water, so I believe we will harvest a lot less wheat in Ohio than we thought we would...

Comet Elenin (also known by its astronomical name C/2010 X1), was first detected on Dec. 10, 2010 by Leonid Elenin, an observer in Lyubertsy, Russia, who made the discovery "remotely" using the ISON-NM observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico. At the time of the discovery, the comet was about 647 million kilometers (401 million miles) from Earth. Over the past four-and-a-half months, the comet has – as comets do – closed the distance to Earth's vicinity as it makes its way closer to perihelion (its closest point to the sun). As of May 4, Elenin's distance is about 274 million kilometers (170 million miles)...
